Originally from California, Matthew graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, where he was involved in the Business & Technology Association, Net Impact, Model United Nations, Blue & Gold Yearbook, Associated Students of the University of California, and Christians on Campus. He moved to Madison after graduation and worked at Epic, an electronic medical record software company, for several years before attending law school. Matthew has a longstanding interest in entrepreneurship, having taken relevant coursework at the Haas School of Business, completed a summer internship at a startup company, and started and operated his own business.

Brad completed his undergraduate degree in Psychology and his master's degree in Marriage & Family Therapy at Edgewood College. An entrepreneur himself, Brad started his own small business in 2004 and it is still operating today. He has also worked for his family owned business for 15 years. He enjoys golfing and is an avid baseball fan.

Originally from Northern Virginia, Andrew graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2011. While at West Point Andrew was able to intern at the United States Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals for Veteran's Claims, and the Commonwealth's Attorney of Fairfax County. After graduation Andrew spent five years as a Field Artillery Officer in the U.S. Army, deploying to eastern Afghanistan for nine months. Andrew's final assignment was as a Company Commander of an Army Warrior Transition Unit, providing personalized support to wounded, ill and injured Soldiers who required complex medical management. Outside the office, Andrew is a former college lacrosse player who enjoys spreading the sport as a youth league coach.

Jake recently graduated from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities earning a degree in English Literature and Jewish Studies. During college, Jake served on the board of directors of an international nonprofit where he established an innovative leadership development initiative that has served over 10,000 of the non-profit's members. Jake loves to spend time outdoors. When he is not working diligently for the clinic's clients, you can find him kayaking, running, and biking on the various trails and lakes around Madison.

Riyad Moe
Riyad is a Madison native who spent the 25 years between High School and Law School living other places. He earned BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis and the University of Texas, respectively. He worked for 20+ years as a Product Design Engineer for companies such as Dell, 3M, Olympus, Sigma Aldrich, and Sulzer Medica. Along the way he passed the USPTO Practitioner’s Exam (“the Patent bar”) and so has been a registered Patent Agent since 2003. Invention has always been the most fascinating part of Engineering, and he is excited to bring this perspective into the L&E Clinic.

Tyler graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2016 with a double-major in Political Science and Communications. Before starting law school, Tyler worked as a peer-mentor for the University of Wisconsin's Center for Pre-Law Advising. Tyler is an avid musician and is interested in trademark and entertainment law.


Jeffrey Glazer
Jeff is a Clinical Assistant Professor with the Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic and has been with the Clinic since 2011. Jeff has a BBA from the University of Toledo with a concentration in operations management and information systems, an MBA from the University of Akron where he studied finance and marketing, and a JD from the IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law where he received a Certificate with Distinction in Intellectual Property. Jeff has worked in IP boutiques, general practice litigation, and bankruptcy representing companies in all stages of development. In 2007, Jeff founded Madison Beer Review and later Madison Craft Beer Week; he has been representing craft brewers ever since and has written extensively on beer and alcohol regulation.

Tami is a supervising attorney in the Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic. She received her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School and M.P.A. from the LaFollette Institute for Public Affairs. Tami practiced in the tax groups of firms in Chicago and Madison where she gained experience in the taxation of: partnerships, mergers and acquisitions and financial instruments. She took time away from the law to stay home with her two daughters. At the Clinic she enjoys teaching student attorneys about the tax aspects of transactional law and helping entrepreneurs achieve their goals.

Anne Smith is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School. She is the co-founder and Co-Director of the Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic at the UW Law School. Previously, she was the General Counsel for Winterthur U.S. Holdings, Inc., a U.S. insurance holding company owned by Winterthur Swiss Insurance Company and Credit Suisse; and later became General Counsel for Promega Corporation a global life sciences company. Professor Smith's practice focused on general corporate law and mergers and acquisitions. She currently serves on the Policy Committee of the Board of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation and is Vice Chairperson of Community Partnerships, a Dane county nonprofit that provides wraparound services to people with mental health issues.
