Joseph Decker
Joe is most interested in intellectual property law, especially patents, and corporate transactional law. Joe was born and raised in Verona, WI. Joe attended the University of Notre Dame for for his undergraduate studies. Joe then worked at Epic for ~3.5 years before returning to law school at Wisconsin. Joe is currently a 2L in his 3rd semester with the L&E Clinic.

Kierre Elvington
Kierre received his B.A. from Georgia State University in political science. Prior to attending law school, Kierre worked for a boutique worker's compensation and disability law firm as a legal assistant. Prior to joining the Law and Entrepreneurship Clinic, he interned in the in-house Legal Department for a national insurance carrier. Currently, Kierre is a second-year law student with a strong interest in business law.

Heba is an international graduate student at the law school. Prior to joining UW law, Heba obtained a masters degree from Georgetown University. Heba brings years of experience to the clinic: she was of Counsel in the dispute resolution group of a large firm in Egypt where she is originally from. Heba is working on developing a smart phone app to help entrepreneurs with their legal needs. Heba now lives in Brookfield with her husband and two young children.
Andrew Hermandorfer
Originally from Northern Virginia, Andrew graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2011. While at West Point Andrew was able to intern at the United States Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals for Veteran's Claims, and the Commonwealth's Attorney of Fairfax County. After graduation Andrew spent five years as a Field Artillery Officer in the U.S. Army, deploying to eastern Afghanistan for nine months. Andrew's final assignment was as a Company Commander of an Army Warrior Transition Unit, providing personalized support to wounded, ill and injured Soldiers who required complex medical management. Outside the office, Andrew is a former college lacrosse player who enjoys spreading the sport as a youth league coach.

Jake recently graduated from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities earning a degree in English Literature and Jewish Studies. During college, Jake served on the board of directors of an international nonprofit where he established an innovative leadership development initiative that has served over 10,000 of the non-profit's members. Jake loves to spend time outdoors. When he is not working diligently for the clinic's clients, you can find him kayaking, running, and biking on the various trails and lakes around Madison.

Kevin Miller
Kevin graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from The Ohio State University, where he was the co-creator of several mobile apps and a handful of video games. Kevin has worked as a patent researcher at a major Midwestern law firm and most recently spent a summer at IBM's Rochester Patent Campus writing software patents for the tech giant. Outside the office, Kevin is an avid beer and wine home-brewer, golfer and is always working on some new electronics project at home.

Riyad is a Madison native who spent the 25 years between High School and Law School living other places. He earned BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis and the University of Texas, respectively. He worked for 20+ years as a Product Design Engineer for companies such as Dell, 3M, Olympus, Sigma Aldrich, and Sulzer Medica. Along the way he passed the USPTO Practitioner’s Exam (“the Patent bar”) and so has been a registered Patent Agent since 2003. Invention has always been the most fascinating part of Engineering, and he is excited to bring this perspective into the L&E Clinic.

Anicka graduated from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse with a double-major in Political Science and Public Administration. During college, Anicka was involved in several on-campus organizations and served as the Student Regent on the University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents. Throughout college and prior to law school, she worked for her family-owned business, where she acquired an interest in and appreciation for entrepreneurship. As a true Wisconsinite, Anicka enjoys spending her free time cheering for the Packers and the Badgers.

Brad completed his undergraduate degree in Psychology and his master's degree in Marriage & Family Therapy at Edgewood College. An entrepreneur himself, Brad started his own small business in 2004 and it is still operating today. He has also worked for his family owned business for 15 years. He enjoys golfing and is an avid baseball fan.

Jeffrey Glazer
Jeff is a Clinical Assistant Professor with the Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic and has been with the Clinic since 2011. Jeff has a BBA from the University of Toledo with a concentration in operations management and information systems, an MBA from the University of Akron where he studied finance and marketing, and a JD from the IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law where he received a Certificate with Distinction in Intellectual Property. Jeff has worked in IP boutiques, general practice litigation, and bankruptcy representing companies in all stages of development. In 2007, Jeff founded Madison Beer Review and later Madison Craft Beer Week; he has been representing craft brewers ever since and has written extensively on beer and alcohol regulation.

Tami Patel
Tami is a supervising attorney in the Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic. She received her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School and M.P.A. from the LaFollette Institute for Public Affairs. Tami practiced in the tax groups of firms in Chicago and Madison where she gained experience in the taxation of: partnerships, mergers and acquisitions and financial instruments. She took time away from the law to stay home with her two daughters. At the Clinic she enjoys teaching student attorneys about the tax aspects of transactional law and helping entrepreneurs achieve their goals.

Anne Smith is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School. She is the co-founder and Co-Director of the Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic at the UW Law School. Previously, she was the General Counsel for Winterthur U.S. Holdings, Inc., a U.S. insurance holding company owned by Winterthur Swiss Insurance Company and Credit Suisse; and later became General Counsel for Promega Corporation a global life sciences company. Professor Smith's practice focused on general corporate law and mergers and acquisitions. She currently serves on the Policy Committee of the Board of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation and is Vice Chairperson of Community Partnerships, a Dane county nonprofit that provides wraparound services to people with mental health issues.
